Overview

It’s a major double-cross when former police officer Brian O’Conner teams up with his ex-con buddy Roman Pearce to transport a shipment of “dirty” money for shady Miami-based import-export dealer Carter Verone. But the guys are actually working with undercover agent Monica Fuentes to bring Verone down.

Viewing Notes

Considering the only entry in this franchise I have seen is FAST FIVE, I decided to prepare for FURIOUS 6 by catching up on the series.

I guess Brian’s complete and total incompetence is addressed a bit. And this one introduces one of my favorite characters of the series (Roman). 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS is a fairly watchable rehash of the 1st film minus the charisma of Vin Diesel. I’ll just let my immediate reaction tweet sum up my feelings:

“2 FAST 2 FURIOUS is like THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS looked in the magic mirror gate and saw its true douchey self. Also Tyrese.”
