Viewing Notes

via Netflix

Deranged vigilante Rusty Nail returns to bring more terror to the roadways as he declares war on a group of unsuspecting street racers. Not even close to what I was expecting, but I hadn’t seen the first. Rusty Nail feels less like a vigilante and more like a serial killer, and the street racers are an actual racing team, they just almost all happen to be jerks. There are a few decent shots in this, but the editing basically kills a lot of the suspense. The vehicles never seem like they’re moving fast enough, we have a semi that can outrun a racing car that’s also apparently street legal, and a bunch of characters making beyond stupid decisions. I just can’t really recommend this one.
