Five college friends spend the weekend at a remote cabin in the woods, where they get more than they bargained for. Together, they must discover the truth behind the cabin in the woods. I have to admit as a whedonverse fan, this film hits a lot of the buttons I love. We get a bunch of horror tropes, and like Tucker & Dale Versus Evil, they get turned on their heads. They find a way to incorporate just about every monster or horror theme you can think of and it goes right along with a smart and funny script.
