Viewing Notes

Funny People felt like a very personal movie to me. Not only because Apatow and Sandler were roommates in college and the movie features lots of archival footage, but also because it seems to address their fame and how they balance it with day to day life.

Seth Rogen paired very well with Sandler, which wasn’t a huge shock to me. Apatow has always had casts that gel together.

I wouldn’t mind giving this another go, because even though it has a very strong drama to it, the comedy bits are great and has some nice quotable lines.
