Overview

As children, Kathy, Ruth, and Tommy spend their childhood at an idyllic and secluded English boarding school. As they grow into adults, they must come to terms with the complexity and strength of their love for one another while also preparing for the haunting reality awaiting them.

Viewing Notes

I love everything about this movie. From it’s moving yet heartbreaking story, to the casting (the choice for “young Carey Mulligan” is incredible), the beautiful score by Rachel Portman, to the wonderful cinematography. Mark Romanek’s 2nd attempt at directing is absolutely breathtaking. My absolute favorite film of 2010, it’s a shame it wasn’t up for any Academy Awards.

Never Let Me Go is a must watch and a movie that will stick with me my whole life.
