Viewing Notes
This movie went from average crime thriller to WTF horrific somewhere in the middle, and it manages to subvert a lot of genre tropes along the way for good measure.
The cast felt a bit on the weak side, and there are some plot contrivances you have to consciously refrain from getting hung up on (really, a criminal patient gets placed on an abandoned wing of the hospital and no nurses or staff ever come visit him to check vitals, etc.?) that keep the movie from being stronger, but there’s still a lot to like about this.
