Viewing Notes

First film to kickoff the 2nd Annual Stanley Film Festival and it’s a winner! This ended up being my favorite film of day one. Great atmospheric horror that suggests way more than it ever shows which made it spine-tinglingly creepy. The actors who portray the mother and son were both excellent, especially the mother, whose transformation as she descends into nightmare is chillingly believable.

This movie really speaks to parents as most have gone through similar trials while raising small children.
