Viewing Notes

I just couldn’t muster up the determination to travel an hour to see this in 70mm IMAX or 35mm at the Drafthouse, so I settled for an early morning (8:30am) showing in a Dolby Atmos theater instead.

Despite a few silly parts, the movie worked well for me. It had the great big feeling I was hoping for while still tugging at your heart strings every chance it got. It didn’t feel overly long. In fact, I found myself wishing it was longer and could have fleshed out a few bits here and there better. Some of the jumps felt jarring.
