Viewing Notes

A very solid, capable return to the franchise that restored a lot of the fun and adventure that seemed to be missing from the trio of prequels. That said, the inability to break free from the same formula as the original Star Wars bugged me. The over-reliance on past characters also dragged it down a bit.

I’m definitely invested in the new characters though, and interested to see where the story goes from here.

All-in-all, a fun adventure that took me back a bit. Glad to see this in theaters but sad that it takes something like this to get the average movie watcher off their couches and into theaters.
