I liked this more than I thought I would even though it felt flat most of the time. Hark just didn’t do a good job building up any real tension through editing and music. The Fire-Wind mercenaries are pretty badass-looking but many of the notable ones get cut down too easily when drawn out action scenes would’ve really been better.

Even though I’ve owned this for a while I didn’t think I’d seen it before. Portions of it felt familiar but overall I still was convinced I hadn’t seen it until I entered it on Movielogr and discovered I had indeed already watched it. Getting old sucks!
