Viewing Notes

Aside from the MacAllan escape scene at the end of part one, the action really happens in part II. This still falls short of other silent epics like DIE NIEBELUNGEN. I’m interested to see Lang’s later take on this under his own direction (he and Thea von Harbeau co-wrote this based on von Harbeau’s novel).
