Overview

After saving the life of their heir apparent, tenacious loner Snake Eyes is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage where he is taught the ways of the ninja warrior. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honor and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him.

Viewing Notes

The fight scenes are almost uniformly horrible. probably because they handed the camera to a methed-up monkey with anxiety issues. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST ACTUALLY COORDINATE A FUCKING FIGHT SCENE AND THEN SHOW IT. Sigh.

Also, WTF with the weird end credits that totally didn’t match the movie, AT ALL.

That said, it starts off ok, and Henry Golding is good as is Haruka Abe as Akiko. Too bad they had to suffer through a pedestrian, poorly shot film. Someone online said Golding would make a great Bond, and I have to agree.
