Viewing Notes

If the choreography on the fight scenes were just a little bit tighter this would totally be a half star higher for me. As it is, it often felt like they were shooting slowed down practice takes rather than the real thing. That makes it sound worse than it is but it’s definitely noticeable. Maybe more so because I’ve been watching so many great action films in the last few months.

Winstead is great, and believable, both emotionally and physically, in her role. While the premise is nothing new, and one might think sounds a little bit like CRANK, it’s well done and fairly believable; or at least enough to accept and get lost in the movie magic.
