Viewing Notes

Decided to go to the Dairy Center for their Friday Night Weird series. It was a very sparse crowd, but not the people I’d expect to see for this kind of film.

DEMONIC has an interesting premise that never really finds its footing. I wish it had spent more time on, well, just about everything, including character development, inside the virtual world, and the underlying back story.

I’ve seen people comparing this to other movies like THE MATRIX, etc. but I think the most apt comparison is to REC.

All that said, I’d still like to see more of these kinds of attempts at horror/sci-fi movies.
