Overview

Viewing Notes

Very few intertitles actually help the story flow in this boxing drama co-written by Hitchcock and Alma Reville. I think this is the only writing credit Hitchcock had but I’m guessing the heavy lifting was done by Reville just as she did with most of his later films. As usual the cinematography is excellent and some of Hitchcock’s signature camera movements are evident here.
