Viewing Notes
Safe wants to be a better movie than it ends up being, but that’s not to say it’s bad. In fact, I enjoyed Safe quite a bit. It’s probably one of the best Statham-starring films I’ve seen in recent years.
Safe both utilizes and slyly does away with genre conventions, which made it both silly and cool at the same time.
A pretty enjoyable film all-in-all. I recommend it.
