Figuring this wouldn’t last long in the theaters based on all the negative reviews, buzz and poor opening box office, I decided I’d pop in for a viewing after work. I dunno if it was my low expectations or general Monday exhaustion but I really enjoyed this flick. Yes, it’s lowbrow humor you’d expect from a Farrelly production but a lot more hits than misses for me.
Found it quite fun to see these stars go for it w/this type of material. Film wears out its welcome after the one hour mark but the post credits bit w/Banks and Duhamel redeems it in the end. Maybe I just enjoy these kind of bits. Whatever it was it mostly works for me. But I can understand why critics are beating it up. Ah well.
