Viewing Notes

Admittedly this is not a very good movie. I’ve held off watching for just that reason (esp. after the letdown of Vampire Effect) but… But. There are at least three reasons to see this; 1) Gillian Chung, 2) Charlene Choi, 3) Bingbing Fan. Some fine action sequences between these beautiful ladies.

If you need another reason there’s a decent Donnie Yen/Jackie Chan fight. Oh yeah, this flick is loaded w/stars. For me, I find it fascinating to watch these actors 4 years prior to the Edison Chen scandal. Hard not to think about that as you see them interact in this film.

Worth noting this is the film debut of Jaycee Chan, Jackie’s son, who does an okay job despite being dopey as all hell. Def does not have his father’s charisma. The story is very cornball but it doesn’t matter if you’re rolling up to see the Twins. And they are worth it.
