Viewing Notes

Fortunately I started this one a while back… cuz I only had a little over an hour left to finish it and get this viewing in under the wire of the Great Netflix Instant Purge of 2013. Fortunately Netflix runs on Pacific time! And fortunately they allow you to finish the streaming even tho it runs past that time by 30+ minutes in this case.

This is trilogy of Edgar Allan Poe short films each starring Vincent Price, natch. Wouldn’t classify this as great as the other Corman/Price collaborations but still a solid watch. Esp. for Peter Lorre and Basil Rathbone.

And that’s a wrap on my 2-day Great Netflix Purge! Nine films. Not too bad. Wish I could have seen more but such is life and the way it goes. At least I’ve made it memorable.
