Movie #1 of Day 3 at Stanley Film Fest. Picked this over The Sacrament and regret that decision. Not that this is a bad werewolf movie; it just didn’t hold any interest for me. Appreciate that Bogliano got his chance at an English dialogue horror movie (and a terrific cast w/Damici, Embry, Noonan, et al) but it doesn’t come together in a way that feels complete. Good ideas here from Eric Stolze and the practical werewolves are great. Just needs more to stick the landing.
