Viewing Notes

Double feature day!

Solid submarine suspense thriller (really, is there any other kind?). The tabling setting in the first half is a bit of a chore. Not bad but takes a while to really get the to the meat of the story then it’s full on. I really like the interplay between the cast esp. Jude Law who proves he’s capable of leading this ragtag group.

Probably the only drawback is the obvious plot devices to pit the crew against each other. Otherwise another fine entry in the submarine suspense subgenre.
