Viewing Notes
Third film on Day 3 at Noir City Chicago and probably the best movie I’ve seen so far at the festival. Really excellent performances from all the principle actors especially Ida Lupino. Both sisters are great including Elsa Lanchester. Nice use of humor as well. Was not aware of this movie prior to the festival so this was a real treat to see. Crazy that Lupino was 23 years old when she acted in this. Fantastic film and one I would recommend to anyone.
