Overview
The film contains five stories set on desolate stretches of a desert highway. Two men on the run from their past, a band on its way to a gig, a man struggling to get home, a brother in search of his long-lost sister and a family on vacation are forced to confront their worst fears and darkest secrets in these interwoven tales.

Viewing Notes
Was happy that MBT picked up Southbound for a midnight screening so I could see it on the big screen. A little sad I skipped at FF2015 because I really enjoyed this. Only one of the segments didn’t work for me but the others were quite fun. Also fun with a crowd even though we didn’t have a big crowd tonight it was great to hear all the laughs.
