Viewing Notes

Last minute decision bc I have an A-List to use but decided I don’t want to go out tomorrow on thanksgiving day ::shrug::

my tweet: RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET is a solid sequel with a good message. Glad Disney didn’t go overboard with all their properties. Also plenty of fun Easter eggs for longtime web/search users. *heart emoji* Snow White’s t-shirt. gif: poison apple

tbh i wasn’t all that enthused to see this film even tho I did enjoy the first movie (but have never revisited). When the movie started I still wasn’t all that keen on it. Then the story moves from the arcade to the internet (really the WWW) and it gets interesting. Smart to have actual brands represented which offers more credibility (fascinating to see which brands are included and not included). Quite a trip to see this movie address many aspects regarding online and social media culture in addition to the Disney Princess dilemma and core message about pursuit of dreams versus just doing what’s expected or remaining comfortable. That affected me the most.
