Overview
Iron Man enlists the help of ruthless vigilante the Punisher to track down War Machine’s murderer. All the while, he’s being pursued by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Black Widow and Hawkeye, who suspect his involvement in a recent terrorist plot.

Viewing Notes
When I saw that Madhouse did another Marvel film I was eager to check it out. Sadly I do not like this movie. That’s not to say that it’s bad but rather I just don’t like the story or action beats.
For example, I don’t like SHIELD vs Iron Man for no reason. Stark is dumb for just being an asshole and not working with SHIELD. SHIELD is dumb for sending fighter jets after him knowing he’s gonna win and leave anyways. Dumb
Oh the whole deal with launching the satellite in the midst of a huge battle… um, that wouldn’t happen. There’s no reason they have to launch it and it reality they’d just postpone. Just dumb.
The entire “Technovore” story doesn’t work for me. Super advanced biotech that just doesn’t really make sense. It would’ve been more believable if it was Alien-tech of some kind.
Then sending Hawkeye and Widow after him is dumb. Why even bother. Of course the Punisher is wedged in here for really no reason. Dumb.
The entire final battle (not to mention that they bring a villain on board the SHIELD Hellicarrier that has powers that could compromise the entire ship) is dumb.
Started watching the Japanese version but switched to English halfway thru. Weird how different the dialogue is for both.
Why is there only one Iron Man? Is Tony Stark the only person in the world with the intelligence to create an iron suit as a weapon? Or is it a resources thing?
