Viewing Notes

Expiring on MUBI. Pretty neat doc on this farmer that refuses to leave the radiated area of Fukushima. The photography is excellent as it shows much of the abandoned town. Also the ostrich is nice. I get they (the Swiss filmmakers) are going for a poignant take on the situation but there’s no real follow through after the solid setup with the farmer. It just ends.
