Viewing Notes

Clue for movie 3: Supernatural 1950s “battle of the sexes” horror/comedy from the Frozen North

My guess: Lake of the Dead (1958), which was the title for the previous film in the marathon.

This is probably my favorite of the day. Very entertaining and hilarious romp about a witch that returns and wreaks havoc on the nearby manor by bewitching all the men into loving her. And she’s quite a voluptuous vixen with plenty of charm. Every time she laughs we laugh. Such a fun, breezy flick that I hadn’t heard of until now. Definitely goes on the new discovery list.

Another I wouldn’t classify as horror but could make the case. Adore the film and would hope a decent release exists for it out there.
