Viewing Notes

DKUTV kicked off their Mie Hama birthday celebration with this flick just as they did last year. In fact, they are presenting the exact same line-up as they did last year. Guessing that Jo already has it all programmed so it’s an easy one to do.

I really like this early Jun Fukuda film noir. Kumi Mizuno is a great femme fatale stuck in a bad place. Of course I love Makoto Sato as the patsy trying to prove his innocence in a frame job. He’s got a great film noir look. Wish Mie Hama had a larger part bc she’s great in a few scenes she gets. Would love to see this in its original Japanese language.
