Viewing Notes

aka GINSENG KING

This was the final movie in the White Slaves of Chinatown marathon held today, which I missed since I was at the track all day helping out with the BMX races. Fortunately the entire marathon was still available (I had been checking in on it throughout the day to see what movies were playing). This one sounded really cool so I jumped to the end to watch it. Really wild flick but sadly my viewing was marred by having to watch on my phone which made most of the subtitles unreadable at that small scale. Certainly not ideal but I got the gist of most of it. Love all the creature FX and fantasy elements. Super amused that Cynthia Khan is in this. Would love to see a nice restored presentation of this.
