Viewing Notes

Picked this up at the thrift store today, the Film Detective release which is the UCLA restoration. Looks decent on DVD. The movie is a bit dry for a this premise of murders by alleged vampires and still a little holdover from the silent era with the makeup and acting. Fay Wray looks dynamite and the dialogue is amusing (would make for some great samples on any horror themed album). Just wish it offered more show than tell.
