Was hoping my opinion would improve… nope. Wondering if there’s a longer -unreported- cut in existence bc much of this movie doesn’t make any sense, at least going off the description. The ending is so abrupt! What happens to Michelle Yeoh’s character????
My take is that Michelle Yeoh’s character has a thing for Tony Leung’s character but he’s married to Joey Wong’s character. Donnie Yen’s character loves Yeoh’s character but she doesn’t reciprocate. All that while shady dealings are happening between at least two great powers in the Martial World. It may be another take on Three Kingdoms, albeit very fantastical.
Look I’m down for Tony and Michelle splitting dudes in half but at least write a script that makes more sense. Ofc if this got a nice release I’d buy it bc I love all these actors. This shitty WellGo release is a joke. Third wheel Donnie Yen deserves it.
