Viewing Notes
The overall look and feel of this makes it seem much older in Tsukamoto’s career (closer to Tetsuo) plus he still look so freakin’ young (again, as the lead character). Crazy that he shows up in Shin Godzilla 18 years later looking like an old man.
The look and feel and overall style is quite beautiful. It feels gritty and gang-like and street-level. The story didn’t grab me as much as the characters do.
