Viewing Notes

Totally my thing and a movie that could double with Message from Space, which is more sci-fi adventure compared to the fantasy adventure of this film but both star Hiroyuki Sanada.

I watched this Sunday via DKUTV but came in after it had started but thought it was near the beginning. Learned it was not near the beginning but rather an hour into this 2:15 runtime film! So Tubi has it in two versions, Japanese unsubbed and English dubbed. Neither are ideal but I watched that first hour which really didn’t add a whole lot.

This is another one that I wished would get a good restoration and release. The DKUTV Broadcast had a decent transfer with rock solid subtitles so I’m guessing bootlegs are out there. There’s another similar film from this time that also needs a release. It was a wild fantasy adventure, too.
