Viewing Notes

Didn’t realize this was about the RL Thomas Kinkade and his painting of the same name. Very heavy on the melodrama about this story in what was one of Peter O’Toole’s last screen roles. After seeing him in this I’m surprised he did anything else bc his depiction of a man in his last days is eerily spot on. He reminded me a lot of my stepmom during her last few months. The dementia and blank stares. Was a bit tough for me to watch.

Also very wild to me to see Chris Elliot again in another movie this year! Just in the last week I’ve seen him in three films (The Abyss, Manhunter, and now this film).
