Viewing Notes

Nothing needs to be said about the actual film, because it’s amazing. Always has been, always will be.

This is not the first time seeing this in the theater for me (that being the multiple times during the 2000 re-release) but it’s definitely the best. Friedkin was in attendance and before the screening did a tech run in the theater for optimal picture and sound. The sound was phenomenal. Never has the mind-blowing sound design been so prevalent. Almost like seeing it in a new light.

The Q&A with Friedkin was amazing. He is super funny and had some great stories to tell. So happy that the DIFF crew was able to bring him and the film to the festival.
