Karen Gillan is perfect in portraying these kind of emotionally stunted, awkward characters. The deadpan alert is on max here with the dry humor in this dark comedy. I’m all for Riley Stearns continuing to make these lo-fi weird relationship films. I still need to rewatch ART OF SELF DEFENSE.
