Viewing Notes

The original title was I Married a Communist, which tells you all you need to know.  A ludicrous portrayal of communists, which shouldn’t be a surprise since anti-red Howard Hughes was head of RKO at the time.  Still a somewhat effective thriller.

Ironically starring the great Robert Ryan, who was one of the most liberal people in Hollywood.  He apparently accepted the role because he was afraid Hughes would ruin his career.
