Another re-watch.  I liked it better this time.  A great-looking film with excellent CGI (I should get this on blu-ray). Really liked the set piece with Noomi Rapace removing the alien from her stomach with the auto-surgery machine. 

Although it’s part of the Alien universe, it was a real departure, too, dealing with big philosophical ideas.  Michael Fassbender playing a robot playing Peter O’Toole playing Lawrence of Arabia is a hoot.
