Viewing Notes

A really good thriller based on two of Patricia Highsmith’s Ripley novels.  I love the cinematography, which helps give the film an unusual chilly feel.  Bruno Ganz is excellent and Dennis Hopper’s Tom Ripley is way different than Matt Damon’s or Andrew Scott’s.  Samuel Fuller and Nicholas Ray have small roles.
