Viewing Notes

An early talkie, so somewhat crude, but a fun gangster film nevertheless.  Released by MGM, better known for musicals and romances and historical dramas.  Feels like it should have been a Warner Bros. release.  Wallace Beery is always fun to watch.  Co-starring a young Ralph Bellamy, and two future megastars:  Clark Gable and Jean Harlow.
