Viewing Notes

One of the best of the Astaire-Rogers films. A silly plot, of course, but the songs and dance numbers are great. With that said, the Bojangles number with Astaire in blackface is admittedly problematic and cringy.

George Stevens had a pretty amazing career.  Starting out working with Laurel & Hardy, he made classic films in almost every genre.
