Viewing Notes
There are many films on disenfranchised youth turning to drugs and crime, and this is one of the better ones I’ve seen. A sort of Bonnie and Clyde-like story. Apparently all the leads were non-actors and the film does have a naturalistic tone to it.
The Madrid location also makes it different and interesting. The soundtrack is an effective mix of electronic dance music and traditional flamenco.
