The 47th Denver Film Festival is under way and this was my first film. The director, Julien Colonna, was in attendance and did a Q&A afterwards. This is his debut feature and it was quite good, perhaps a bit slow at times.
The entire cast are non-actors that the director found in Corsica, where the action takes place, and they’re all remarkably good. The sunny Mediterranean makes for an interesting setting for a gangster film.
