Evel Knievel takes on drug smugglers and the results are hilarious. This is so bad, it’s good. Our hero faces danger at every turn while finding time to hand out presents to kids in an orphanage. What a guy!
Evel is as terrible an actor as you would have guessed. He’s stiff and expressionless. Even Frank Gifford does a better acting job. I don’t know how Gene Kelly got roped into this, but at least he gives it his all. On a positive note, it’s shot in widescreen and looks pretty good.
