Viewing Notes

I haven’t seen this since it first came out.  I thought it was very good back then and it’s still an impressive film adaptation.  This was David Lean’s first film after a 14-year gap and his best film since LAWRENCE OF ARABIA.  It truly looks and feels like a classic Lean epic.
