A slick heist film with some problematic flaws. Surveillance technology is a large part of the plot, but looking back, it didn’t seem like it was all that important to the story, except to give the film an ironic twist at the end.
Sean Connery is always great to watch. Martin Balsam’s gay character is a bit cringy, but that seems par for the course when it comes to depicting gays back in the day. The cast also includes a very young Christopher Walken, and SNL’s Garrett Morris.
