Viewing Notes

Pretty much the same crew that brought us BULLITT and THE FRENCH CONNECTION. Not as good as those two films, but it’s still a solid cop drama with the same gritty feel and a show-stopping car chase.

Philip D’Antoni was the producer of the previous two films and decided to direct this one. It probably could have been even better if Friedkin or Yates had directed.
