Viewing Notes

Having discovered that the recent THE AMATEUR was a remake, and finding out the original was on Hulu (thanks Ron!), I had to check it out.

This is a good spy thriller. It sort of belongs with the cynical Watergate-era films where the CIA is almost as bad as the terrorists.

Compared to the remake, the most interesting thing is the state-of-the-art technology in both films. Also interesting that a swimming pool is used kill a terrorist in both films.
