Obviously trying to replicate the Beatles’ success, producers made a couple of films with Herman’s Hermits. This isn’t A HARD DAY’S NIGHT and Herman’s Hermits are not the Beatles, but despite the insipid songs, it’s silly and colorful fun. Mostly interesting for me was the location filming of Manchester in the 1960’s.
