Viewing Notes

A delightful adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s classic. It’s not terribly cinematic. It’s very stagey.  Still, the colorful costumes and sets make it visually attractive.

It basically sticks to Wilde’s dialogue, which is great (in fact, there’s no screenwriter in the credits). The cast is wonderful.
